Global ESG Manager (m/w/d)

Ihre Aufgaben:

➢ Strategische Entwicklung und Umsetzung einer globalen ESG-Strategie im Einklang mit den Unternehmenszielen und branchenüblichen Best Practices

➢ Leitung und Koordination des globalen ESG-Komitees sowie Verankerung von ESG-Prioritäten in Geschäftsentscheidungen und operativen Prozessen

➢ Steuerung klimabezogener Initiativen, insbesondere zur Reduzierung von Scope-1-, Scope-2- und Scope-3-Emissionen

➢ Verantwortung für die Ausrichtung an der Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) sowie für die Klimatransitionsplanung

➢ Bearbeitung kundengetriebener Anforderungen im Bereich Dekarbonisierung und Nachhaltigkeit

➢ Definition und Umsetzung von ESG-Standards für Lieferanten sowie entsprechender Auditprozesse

➢ Durchführung menschenrechtlicher Risikoanalysen entlang der Wertschöpfungskette

➢ Sicherstellung der Ausrichtung auf aktuelle und kommende regulatorische Anforderungen, insbesondere im Zusammenhang mit der EU-Lieferkettenrichtlinie / CSDDD

➢ Verantwortung für ESG-Reporting und Offenlegungspflichten, z. B. CSRD und UN Global Compact

➢ Sicherstellung von Datenqualität, Konsistenz und Transparenz über ESG-Systeme und -Tools hinweg

➢ Steuerung der Compliance mit ESG-Ratings und -Standards, z. B. EcoVadis

➢ Zentrale ESG-Ansprechperson für PE-Eigentümer, Investoren, Ratingagenturen, Regulierungsbehörden und interne Stakeholder

➢ Erstellung ESG-bezogener Unterlagen für Board Meetings, Roadshows und Investorenkommunikation

➢ Stärkung der ESG Equity Story von Kelvion im Hinblick auf einen möglichen Börsengang oder Verkauf

➢ Monitoring von ESG-KPIs und Performance-Kennzahlen sowie Benchmarking gegenüber Wettbewerbern

➢ Identifikation von Verbesserungspotenzialen und Förderung von Innovation sowie ESG-Kompetenzen in der gesamten Organisation

Ihre Qualifikation:

➢ Abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Nachhaltigkeit, Umweltwissenschaften, Betriebswirtschaft oder in einem verwandten Fachgebiet; ein weiterführender Hochschulabschluss ist wünschenswert

➢ Mehr als 10 Jahre Berufserfahrung im Bereich ESG, Nachhaltigkeit oder in verwandten Fachgebieten

➢ Nachweisbare Erfolge in der Leitung globaler ESG- oder Transformationsinitiativen

➢ Erfahrung in komplexen, internationalen Matrixorganisationen

➢ Fundierte Kenntnisse von ESG-Frameworks, Reporting-Standards und regulatorischen Anforderungen

➢ Sehr gute Kenntnisse relevanter ESG-Standards und -Ratings, z. B. CSRD, UN Global Compact, EcoVadis, MSCI, Sustainalytics, ISS oder S&P CSA

➢ Starkes strategisches und analytisches Denkvermögen sowie die Fähigkeit, ESG-Themen in geschäftsrelevante Maßnahmen zu übersetzen

➢ Ausgeprägtes Stakeholdermanagement und starke Einflussfähigkeit über unterschiedliche Hierarchieebenen, Funktionen und Kulturen hinweg

➢ Erfahrung in der Leitung von Veränderungsprogrammen sowie im Aufbau globaler ESG-Communities

➢ Hohes Maß an Eigenverantwortung, Umsetzungsstärke und Verantwortungsbewusstsein

➢ Ausgeprägte Kommunikationsfähigkeit sowie ein kooperativer, strukturierter und wirkungsorientierter Führungsstil

➢ Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift

Global ESG Manager (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities:

➢ Strategic development and implementation of a global ESG strategy in line with corporate objectives and industry best practices

➢ Leadership and coordination of the global ESG committee as well as embedding ESG priorities into business decisions and operational processes

➢ Management of climate-related initiatives, particularly the reduction of Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 emissions

➢ Responsibility for alignment with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and for climate transition planning

➢ Management of customer-driven requirements in the area of decarbonization and sustainability

➢ Definition and implementation of ESG standards for suppliers as well as corresponding audit processes

➢ Execution of human rights risk analyses along the value chain

➢ Ensuring alignment with current and upcoming regulatory requirements, particularly in connection with the EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive / CSDDD

➢ Responsibility for ESG reporting and disclosure requirements, e.g. CSRD and UN Global Compact

➢ Ensuring data quality, consistency and transparency across ESG systems and tools

➢ Managing compliance with ESG ratings and standards, e.g. EcoVadis

➢ Acting as the central ESG contact for PE owners, investors, rating agencies, regulatory authorities and internal stakeholders

➢ Preparing ESG-related materials for board meetings, roadshows and investor communications

➢ Strengthening Kelvion’s ESG equity story with regard to a potential IPO or sale

➢ Monitoring ESG KPIs and performance metrics as well as benchmarking against competitors

➢ Identifying improvement potential and fostering innovation as well as ESG capabilities across the entire organization

Your Qualifications:

➢ Completed degree in sustainability, environmental sciences, business administration or a related field; an advanced university degree is desirable

➢ More than 10 years of professional experience in ESG, sustainability or related fields

➢ Proven track record in leading global ESG or transformation initiatives

➢ Experience in complex, international matrix organizations

➢ Strong knowledge of ESG frameworks, reporting standards and regulatory requirements

➢ Very good knowledge of relevant ESG standards and ratings, e.g. CSRD, UN Global Compact, EcoVadis, MSCI, Sustainalytics, ISS or S&P CSA

➢ Strong strategic and analytical mindset as well as the ability to translate ESG topics into business-relevant actions

➢ Excellent stakeholder management skills and strong influencing capabilities across different hierarchy levels, functions and cultures

➢ Experience in leading change programs and building global ESG communities

➢ High level of ownership, execution strength and sense of responsibility

➢ Excellent communication skills as well as a collaborative, structured and impact-oriented leadership style

➢ Very good written and spoken German and English skills
