Your responsibilities

  • Design and optimize heat exchangers and their components using parametric 3D CAD modeling in complex modular assemblies
  • Develop and adapt 3D CAD models for CFD analysis, including geometry simplification, parameterization, and preparation to ensure simulation-readiness
  • Actively contribute to the evolution of CAD capabilities by identifying, evaluating, and implementing advanced tools and emerging AI-driven approaches for design automation and optimization.
  • Support production teams in the implementation of new developments, materials and technologies, the optimization of the related manufacturing processes, and solve technical issues arising from the new developments.

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related engineering field
  • Experience in designing heat exchangers or similar applications, such as HVAC, energy, or the chemical industry, preferably within Kelvion’s product segments or comparable industrial environments
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and Vault
  • Experience with parametric CAD design and complex modular assemblies, including preparation for simulation tools such as Ansys
  • Fluent English language skills; knowledge of German is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in interdisciplinary teams and communicate effectively across departments, including production, R&D, and application engineering
